My Experience with the Online World: Why am I slightly skeptical with MMO?

Note: This post does have affiliate links of what I use, just in case you would like to give them a try.

Hello again! I recently received a promotion on a making money online program through my email, and it got me thinking on the many times we have received (at some point) a deal where we could be making $100s of dollars online.

Without getting myself into the details of such, these are emails sent because maybe you have been searching for ways to have a separate stream of income (guilty as charged). Or, you have searched YouTube for Making Money Online (MMO) videos, and clicked at the link below the video (also me).

The reality is that I am always finding a way to earn money from another source of income besides my teaching career. Although tutoring is an option, my compromises after school are usually taking my children to different therapies, which in turn, makes me return home at later hours of the day. I have tried surveys, like those offered in Swagbucks, and I have cashed in on gift cards which have helped me out here and there. I have also tried services like TryMyUI, in which I have cashed in around $10 dollars a review, but the hours in which these tests arrive, and the availability of them are so fast, its really difficult to earn a decent amount. But you can get lucky, if you have the time.

I have searched through transcript websites for freelancing opportunities with no success so far, but since I don’t have the actual time right now, I haven’t given them much thought. I also do Thirty-One as a side gig, but again, unless you have the effort to really work hard for it and the passion to run it well, your will get paid accordingly.

The truth of the matter is that I would like to substitute my income from teaching online. I wouldn’t know if several sites which offer $100s of dollars a day are actually legitimate or not, but at my current state, I am trying to cut back on my credit card use, and control my spending in order to have more income. And I have had experiences, in which I have spent $500 on my credit card, to buy and earn profits on stocks, which resulted in a huge loss, and a $500 credit card balance which accrued interest.

But have I lost my faith in the online world? Not quite. I just do my “due diligence” regarding these companies, checking if they are a legitimate business, and the “investment” in which is require to have access to these. So far, I am on a free blog, with maybe the purpose to monetize in the future (near future, later future, only God knows).

For those who have had super success in MMO, my applause for their investment and hard work. My advice (which I follow as an average Jane), is to just be careful and take note that an “investment” shouldn’t be considered a guarantee to passive income. I also have to consider that as an Improving Mommy, I have to be cautious about where I use my hard earned income, and think about my basic needs first.

This is all for now… have a great day and much success!
